Hell Songs From The Floating World
is an apocalyptic, existential death-mask comedy.
Inspired by performing an original piece called
"Sensitive Zombie" to an incredible
response, the full-length show features an underground
survivor of an alien invasion, a corpse awaiting
judgment, a waiter in the underworld, an inspirational
ghost, a volunteer greeter in the afterlife, and
a painful "morning after" tale. By throwing
these poor souls in "end-times" scenarios,
the results are both sad and funny, macabre and
poignant.
*Ticket
purchase to 3/24 show includes admission to closing
night party.

For Mr. Mortimer is a dark
comedy about an ambitious thespian in search
of the grand finale. Having played out countless
lives on stage, Mr.Mortimer embarks on a
backstage expedition toward death. With
whimsical visuals and high physicality,
this non-verbal one-man show exposes the
lighter side of darkness.

THE RIVER'S INVITATION contains
two treatments of civic discourse as
pursued through letter writing. Twice
is a “Letter to the Editor”
pondering a brief, disturbing “filler”
article about a badly (and
doubly) botched suicide attempt. Trials
and Tributaries presents the
snail-mail missives between a whitewater river
rafter and a Forest
Service official concerning alleged “camping
violations,” and
features the epistolary authorial genius of Northern
California teaching
and rafting legend Steven W. Howell.

Giant Invisible Robot
Russel is quite a reserved man—introspective,
unobtrusive and painfully shy. As a child he had
one true—albeit invisible—friend.
But Russel’s friend was a little different
from other kids’ imaginary playmates…he
was a Giant Invisible Robot programmed to destroy.
And, unlike other kids who grow up and abandon
their imaginary friends, Russel has managed to
maintain his friendship with Robot over the years,
forming an indivisible bond…even though
Russel is continuously frustrated by Robot’s
need to destroy whole cities and Robot must constantly
suppress his programming to avoid crushing Russel
like an ant.

The Bridesmaid brings
you to ground zero in the business of love. Ceremony
after ceremony, dress upon hideous dress, we follow
a woman named Hope as she searches for something
real to hang on to as she stands up with her friends
in love. What Sex and the City wouldn’t
dare show you -- 13 weddings, 10 years, mean Christians,
bad hair, horny groomsmen, silver plated asparagus
tongs, and a black-eye. Video by SJ Chiro.
*Ticket
purchase to 3/9 show includes admission to opening
night gala.

Blume Owes Me/ When Boobs are the Center of Your
Universe.
Is it possible for an 11-year-old girl to be more
obsessed with breasts than society is? Did “Are
You There God, It’s Me, Margaret”
speak for an entire generation? This hilarious
and often touching tale of growing up as seen
through the herstory of a developing bosom allows
for bawdy physical antics and delicate emotional
portrayals, capturing eighties adolescence with
pitch perfect verve.

Gloomology
Your substitute schoolmaster for the quarter will
be Mr. Slurch. Do not be alarmed by his dark clothes,
his gaunt cheeks, his spindly limbs, the sinister
gleam in his eye - he has your best interests
in his cold, quivering heart. His lessons will
awaken your foolish, frivolous minds to the essential
truths of our dark, miserable lives. A comedy.
